The Secret to Our Sanity Is Out!
We have two Pugs that give us unconditional love, endless entertainment and so much to laugh about.
Misty is 12 and is a silver pug which means her coat is kind of beautiful silver.
Shelby is about 2 years old and is a gorgeous fawn color.
I have always had pugs my parents even had one when I was born but she did not like the competition so my mom had to give her up.
I have always had pugs but Shelby is by far the most unusual pug I have ever seen.
I will share her antics as we catch them on video or with photos.
Even Misty as old as she is will make you laugh!
Some of the strange things she does is to chase laser lights and really watch TV and she loves The Ellen DeGeneres Show and of course Animal Planet.
She has a way of letting you know she loves you by the way she looks at you.
My husband Daniel and I got our first pug 1987 while we lived in So. Cal while I went to college. My uncle sent us his first and only puppy from his pair of pugs. When I showed Dan a picture of a pug his response was that is one ugly dog and I do not like dogs. Plus his family had never had dogs as his mother was afraid of them. Ok tell my rather large uncle that. No that was not going to happen so we got Cricket.
We named her Cricket because when we went to pick her up from the airport we heard this very loud noise that sounded like a Very Noisy Cricket. Her yipping was louder than the machines until she got in my arms.
She was extremely hard to train until we found out that she was deft. But she is the one that converted Dan to loving Pugs. We will always have a pug or two in our family.
