Dylan Cornelius is a young, middle-class upstart from Arizona.
Until recently, Dylan's regard for the homeless was minimal.
In April of 2011, however, he felt called to visit with the homeless in various shelters around the country, and write a book about what he saw.
For forty days, Dylan stopped in twelve different states and traveled through a dozen more.
Every person he talked to had a story that was unique and individual to them.
Many of them weren't panhandlers nor were they drunks or drug addicts (though that can happen, of course).
Many of them had lost their jobs in the current economy and couldn't find another to make ends meet.
Their families had abandoned them. Dylan learned that those experiencing poverty are people trying to get by, like everyone else.
By joining with "Sharing it Forward", he wants to be a part of the homeless education process in the Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath Counties and Communities at large.
His goal is to help Kristen in her endeavors to enable people to reclaim their lives from the streets.
