We will partner with other organizations, mentors and coaches to introduce basic knowledge like financial education, including money management, healthy living, personal responsibility, and entrepreneur options to create multiple streams of income. We will also teach personal growth, how to network and build a strong support system, and how to navigate the local resources available, among other resources.
The “Sharing It Forward Program” will help with transitional-to-permanent housing, with the addition of life skill classes, mentoring and coaching.
For the housing program, we will place 2 or more families into a house to share until they develop a plan of action to make permanent changes.
We will then move each family into an independent rental situation that, in the right cases, can become a rent-to-own situation
